Ortek massage mats - how do we differ from our competitors?

Orthopedic mats are not new to the market. Many people — especially parents of young children — already know how beneficial it is to walk barefoot on uneven surfaces. It strengthens the foot muscles, forms the correct arch, helps prevent flat feet and valgus deformity, supports proper posture, and trains balance and coordination. Walking barefoot on sand, pebbles, grass, and — massage mats is a great alternative when natural landscapes are not accessible.

Orthopedic mats are universal and popular, so it is no surprise that they have been produced in Ukraine and abroad for many years.

The company “OLVI” started producing mats in Odesa about 10 years ago. We use high-quality and safe European raw materials; Ortek mats have passed strict clinical testing in laboratories in Ukraine and Poland and have received CE conformity declarations in Ukraine and the EU. 

Over the years, we have significantly expanded the range of Ortek mat sets, created many different series, and confidently entered and established ourselves in the European market. At the same time, we have remained the same team that works together — from salesperson to manager — on the creation of every new product. We carefully select the shape and texture, jointly test the mats with our own feet, and control quality at every stage of production. Just as at the beginning, we thoughtfully consider what can bring the greatest benefit to our customers, listen to requests and feedback, and look for new ideas and solutions.

What do Ortek massage mats offer that no competitor has?

1. Mat sets with the board game “Forest Adventures”

The key to the effective use of orthopedic mats is regular exercise and practice on puzzle mats. But how can a child be motivated to do this? We created a video with exercises that a child can simply follow, as well as an additional board game. By completing game tasks, the child practices on the mat in a fun and relaxed way. It is great that the game can be played together — up to 4 players. During the game, the child meets fairy-tale characters: some help, while others create more challenging tasks, making the game even more engaging.

2. Unique triangular rotating puzzle elements

A straight path is boring. What about wavy lines, ovals, or circles? With our new development, there are no limits to creating any shapes. You can build routes around furniture and corners, save space in the room, and most importantly — stimulate children’s imagination and interest in exercising on the mats.

3. Puzzles with removable elements 

A puzzle mat only for feet? Who said so? We created removable elements that attach to the base puzzle like a mosaic. Already available is the “Patterns” series — each element has its own unique texture and shape,  which stimulate the feet and palms in different ways. When a child touches different surfaces, the brain learns to distinguish these sensations without visual cues — this develops sensory memory. In addition, attaching the elements requires finger dexterity, which helps develop fine motor skills. And of course, the “Patterns” puzzle works as a massage mat for the feet — the elements are securely fixed. 

The “Pebbles” series will also be available soon, where the elements will be individual colorful stones, allowing you to create your own pebble beach.
